Yes…as you might guess, the Samsung Omnia Hd is almost out and it’s one of the first mobile phone capable to shoot 720p HD video.
Before buying it let’s take a look into his main features. The shape of it is stylish and modern as all new phones tend to be these days.
The touchscreen display has 3.7″ with 16M colors and supports 640 x 360 pixels, is only 12.9 mm thick and weights just 144 grams.
The camera is an 8 megapixel one having a lot of features such as: auto focus, LED flash, geo-tagging, face detection, smile shot, image stabilizer, Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), ISO 1600. I guess this is the main feature since since is capable to shoot HD 720p@24fps, 720×480@30fps, QVGA time-lapse and slow-mo video. Pretty cool, right?
All those pictures, videos and other media files must be hold on something so this gadget comes with an integrated 8 or 16 GB memory and also supports microSD slot to extend it further up to 32GB.
Connectivity features are as you expected, for this interesting model, are a lot: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, 3G, microUSB, GPS receiver, TV-out (SD content).
If you wonder what is the OS for this “mobile monster” you will get your answer: it is Symbian S60.The brain that do this is an 600 MHz processor with 256 MB ram.
All that we talked since now regarding this product seem impressive so the battery can’t be far from this: is an 1500 mAh one that provide 600 h in stand by mode and 13 h 30 min in talk time.
I am pretty much impressed about how good can be this model, so we will have to wait till the half of this month when is expected to hit our stores with an estimated price of 500 euro.
