nokia_e72Nokia E72 is the new QWERTY model from the business E-series and seem to be that kind of phone that won’t disappoint.

We start our review saying that E71 was one of the best QWERTY device phone made by Nokia, so we will see if E72 will outclass his old brother.

Announced in June 2009, E72 comes with a TFT display having 16M colors and supports a resolution up to 320 x 240 pixels. Under the display are the navigation keys and the QWERTY keyboard while on the top we discover the earpiece and the ambient light sensor.

Keys are easy to be pressed and the D-pad has trackpad functionality with 3 sensitive settings: low, medium and high.

The size of the phone makes it perfect to wear in our t-shirts or pants: 114×59.5×10.1 mm. Weighs just 128 grams so it won’t break your pocket and neither will give the feeling of empty pocket.

On the right side of the phone there are 3 dedicated buttons: the volume rocker ones and between them is a voice service button. Left part host the microUSB port and microSD(up to 16GB) card slot both covered in plastic caps. Top part of E72 has the classic Nokia power button and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

The back of the phone is the place where we’ll find the camera, a loudspeaker with grill and the stainless steel battery case.

The camera is a 5 megapixel device with autofocus and LED flash and can take pictures within a resolution up to 2592 x 1944 pixels. Videos are shoot in VGA format @15fps. Under the steel case is the battery,  a 1500 mAh BP-4L Li-Ion one which promise 576 hours in stand-by mode and 12 and a half hours in talk time.nokia_e72_back

E72 comes with an ARM 11 600 MHz processor and 128 Mb Ram and is powered by Symbian OS 9.3, Series 60 v3.2 UI. Beeing a smartphone it comes with several applications: Office, Excel Power Point 2007, ActiveNotes, Dictionary, World Traveler, Multi Scanner and much more from Ovi Store.

Talking about connectivity we must clap our hands because E72 has it all: 3G, GPRS, Wi-Fi, USB 2.00, Bluetooth v2.0. VoIp is also available through Wi-Fi and also Gps through A-Gps support and Nokia Maps 3.0 application.

Internet Browser works very fast and supports Flash, which means is Youtube ready.

Nokia E-72 is available world-wide from October with a price close to 500$.

Hello… this is not a review. Review means you have to use the phone for some time and tell its performance, problems, etc. and give opinion as to its worthiness Instead, you have just copied its specifications from some other site and boasts of review. Do you think the readers are fools….:)
