Samsung announced this September a new mobile phone, B7330 OmniaPro. The biggest thing on this new device is that is supporting Windows Mobile 6.5. But let’s take a look of all specs couse we think this is not all that this can handle.
It weights 107 grams and has just 10.8 mm thickness. B7330 comes with a 2.62″ screen with a square resolution 320×320 pixels. It’s a TFT type based on with 65000 colors. Under the display is the QWERTY keyboard, very similar from what we had seen on Blackberry models.
On the sides we find the followings: the right side hosts the camera shutter and the microSD slot while the on the other side is the volume rocker and the microUSB port.
The back of the phone features the 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and geo-tagging option available and right near a loudspeaker. Uncover the back case and you will find a quite big battery, a 1500 mAh Li-Ion one.
The powerful Windows Mobile 6.5 brings to B7330 a very quick UI. The new phone has 3 home screens, a new feature that Samsung called Wiz Pro. Through them you gain fast access to usual application such as: mail, messages, music player, contacts, social networks and much more. Along the new OS, Samsung phone has a 528 MHz processor and 256 MB RAM. The internal memory has 270 Mb, but can be extended through the microSD slot, up to 32 Gb.
The connectivity options available are various and usual: Gprs, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2dp support. Gps is also available with A-Gps support, but we couldn’t discover more about this.
So basically we have to say Samsung B7330 is a nice telephone these, offering what all we wish: speed, social networks, QWERTY and Windows Mobile 6.5.
We’ll see if it fits our pockets…
