Steel case, round corners, style and simplicity are the new words describing Nokia this summer, as the biggest mobile producer released 6700 Classic model.
The new phone has interesting features such as: noise cancellation, A-Gps built in navigation(Nokia Maps) and 3G technology.
Display is an TFT kind one with 16 M colors having 2.2″ wide and supporting a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It comes with ambient light sensor, content adaptive brightness control and also accelerometer sensor.
As we said it’s a stylish and simple phone having 113 g, just 11.2 mm thickness and a monoblock form.
On the back we find the 5 megapixel camera with equipped autofocus and LED flash. It is also capable of shooting low-framerate VGA videos @ 15 fps. You have to be very careful with the camera, because it doesn’t contain any protection against scratches. Near the camera is situated a small loudspeaker grill.
If you remove the back steel cover you will discover the microSD card slot(supports up to 16GB), the sim slot and the 960 mAh BL-6Q Li-Ion battery, capable of 300hours in stand by mode.
Nokia 6700 Classic comes with S40 6th edition user interface that contain few major tweaks on the following : Internet Browser(opera), Flash Lite player, Phonebook, Messaging, E-mail, Music/Video/FM Player.
As for connectivity features, the 6700 model has GPRS, 3G, Bluetooth 2.1, Gps with A-Gps and microUSB port.
Phone is available in stores since May 2009 at an estimated price of 235 euros.
