Google made it official: Nexus S will be available from December 16th and will cost $529(unlocked)

Google Nexus SGoogle Nexus S is finally out from the rumour zone as today Google steeped out and released the official page and statement regarding their next mobile phone innovation.

Google Nexus S is made with Samsung help and it has his foundation on Android Gingerbread operating system. From the beginning it surprises us with a 4-inch Super Amoled touchscreen with 16M colors and 480 x 800 pixels.

As sensors Nexus S is full of new technology: haptic feedback vibration, three-axis gyroscope, accelerometer, digital compass, proximity and light sensor.

At the back of this gorgeous phone there is a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and capable of HD videos(720 x 480 video resolution), but this something you already know. What you didn’t knew till now is that the front facing camera is VGA based(640 x 480 resolution).

A rumour that will be true: Google Nexus S

Google Nexus SThe rumors about the Google Nexus S are spreading like wildfire and the official announcement is very close. Leaked photos are coming online one after another. In all those images the common things are rounded edges, front camera, a big touchscreen and last of all the OS: Google Nexus S will be running Android 2.3 ‘Gingerbread’. This is one of the reasons that creates more and more rumors: according to the leaks the phone will run a stock version of Android. It means there will be no manufacturer’s customized UI in it and this will be a pure Android experience.

One of the most trustworthy sources are the pictures from Flickr. Reports say that the camera has 5 megapixels and features autofocus and a LED flash. Another interesting fact is that the pictures are uploaded by various Google employees. The model number which is showed in the camera information was GT-i9020 which is the estimated model number of Nexus S.
