LG electronics mobile division announced this year the release of the next Arena model called GT950. We will take a look inside what promises to be a stylish and quality mobile phone. It’s not a smartphone, but at least is a touchscreen based model, which means it’s qualified to follow this year’s trend.
The WVGA touch screen display has 3.0-inches and provides a 480 x 800 pixels resolution which perfectly made for video playback. Below the display there are 3 soft keys: Send, Clear&Back, End. The microphone is situated under these 3 keys and the earpiece + proximity sensor on the top of the display. Above is the usual power key button.
On the left side of the phone we find the volume keys and 2 buttons: multitasking and camera one while on the left is the MicroUSB/Headset/Charging port(charging via PC is available). Around this display there’s a minimalistic metallic bar, perfectly assigned to give a sleek and nice design.
At the back of the phone is an 5.0 megapixel camera equipped with auto-focus and LED flash. Videos are shoot at a 640×480 resolution and the 2x zooming is also available. Other camera features: Geo-tagging, Macro and Shake reduction, Image Editor and the basic camera customizable modes.
