HTC One Mini was made official today

HTC One MiniWe have been hearing rumors of the HTC One Mini for awhile, and we even got a look at leaked photos a couple days ago.. But today the company unveiled the model for real, and it seems to be everything you would expect.

The original HTC One had a 4.7 inch display and a high resolution of 1080 pixels. It ran a quad-core Snapdragon 600 chip processor, and had a decent interface that was very similar to the Windows Phone displays, as it had large box menus rather than the traditional icons.

With the HTC One Mini, you are getting a lot of the same design and features, with a couple of differences. The screen has been shrunk down to 4.3 inches, and the display resolution is now 720 pixels. While this will have a few drawbacks for those who like mobile streaming video content, it is less of a change than you might have guessed for a Mini model.

Microsoft Xbox One Gaming ConsoleThis week marked the end of a difficult period for gaming enthusiasts as Microsoft finally decided it was time to officially announce the next-generation Xbox console. Although all rumours led to Xbox 720 name, they were all wrong. Microsoft next gaming console is called Xbox One.

Like everybody since PS3 and Xbox 360 release I was really curious to see how the next generation gaming consoles will be like. I kinda feel strange now, knowing that both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 were made official. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel like those mind-blowing gaming innovations that we all expected are not here.

Just like it’s opponent Xbox One will feature an eight-core AMD Jaguar processor, clocked at 1.6 Ghz.

HTC One and the attempt to matter

HTC One SmartPhoneAfter a lot of rumours HTC finally announced One, their newest Android phone. Although One is right now among the hottest phones available, will this be able to stand out and claim its celebrity ?

HTC One was announced at New York, one week before MWC 2013, which might sound odd because usually Barcelona was a great place to announce HTC devices. It’s a risky decision taken by HTC, knowing that MWC will bring a lot of new phones and next month we’re likely to witness the announcement of the Galaxy S IV smartphone. It appears HTC had the courage to come up first and announce one of the first flagship phone of the year. At this time, we only have those two BlackBerry 10 devices.

For start, I have to say I’m impressed of how HTC One looks like. From the display to the design of the phone, everything yells quality. It’s clearly an evolution from HTC One X smartphone and also an improvement, because the body is made fully of aluminium. The beautiful 4.7-inch Super LCD 3 display supports a 1080p resolution which means that the pixel density is awesome: 468ppi.
