Sony’s PlayStation 4 is currently the console of choice for a lot of gamers and Microsoft want to get more gamers using their devices.

Project Scorpio Specs

The specs of Project Scorpio are impressive and looks like being the most powerful console on the market when it’s released. The CPU used in Project Scorpio is eight custom x86 cores clocked at 3.3GHz; The GPU has 40 customised compute units at 1172MHz. The memory is 12GM GDDR5 RAM; Memory bandwidth is 326GB/s; Internal hard drive memory is 1TB 2.5-inch, and the optical drive is a 4K UHD Blu-ray.

The email details the reorganization of the entire company to fit a new policy. It is called One Microsoft, and it will work to entirely integrate the different departments of the company into a singular force.

Microsoft Xbox One Gaming ConsoleThis week marked the end of a difficult period for gaming enthusiasts as Microsoft finally decided it was time to officially announce the next-generation Xbox console. Although all rumours led to Xbox 720 name, they were all wrong. Microsoft next gaming console is called Xbox One.

Like everybody since PS3 and Xbox 360 release I was really curious to see how the next generation gaming consoles will be like. I kinda feel strange now, knowing that both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 were made official. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel like those mind-blowing gaming innovations that we all expected are not here.

Just like it’s opponent Xbox One will feature an eight-core AMD Jaguar processor, clocked at 1.6 Ghz.

Sony PlayStation 4 HolidayIn 2013 all gaming enthusiasts are excited: PlayStation 4 will be released and rumour has it Microsoft will do the same with Xbox 720 or whatever the name of their next generation console will be. Although until now we just have the official specs of the upcoming PlayStation 4 console and some leaked and rumoured specs of Xbox 720 analysts believe Sony’s console will win the battle.

PlayStation 4 event was one of the strangest event I ever watched. It’s similar with what happened when Microsoft announced Surface tablets last year. It was that type of event where you see just a small part of what’s coming while the most interesting things are left to be announced later.
