Apple iPad 2017Apple has announced new features on their latest iPad, as well as updates to their iPhone 7 and iPhone 7+, and their Apple Watch.

The iPads New Focus On Display

The biggest news is probably the 9.7 inch retina display on the latest iPad incarnation. Though tablets are becoming a dime a dozen on the market, Apple has managed to keep a firm lead in quality over many of the brands popular today. The iPad is a staple in the tech, and they have been working to improve their display features for awhile.

Top 5 must have gadgets for 2015 Holiday Season

Happy Christmas2015 is a year that wasn’t the most mind-blowing with digital devices but was one where you could almost feel the future coming.

Microsoft finally worked out how to make a tablet that can replace your laptop. Apple designed the Watch which is a step forward in hardware and will shine when developers create killer apps that demand the Watch be on your wrist. Epson finally changed the way people print with the Eco-Tank printer series. Sony’s Playstation 4 and Roku 3 showed what a device with focus and a specific job to do (Instead of being another device that attempts to do everything). Below is a list of my favourite digital devices from 2015. It was a tough list to make, but these are the devices that impressed the most and are the top 5 must have gadgets for 2015.

Apple Watch app store is now live

Apple WatchApple’s Watch is to be released with a range of apps by developers who haven’t used an Apple Watch yet. For these developers, it is hard to know what makes a good Watch app, how an app should look, and what the app should aim to do. Simplicity is the current requirement, along with a list of guidelines from Apple on app development.

The Watch is a device no one has used yet, and so it’s unknown how people will end up using this technology. A few Watch app developers have said the best apps will give a small bit of information on the screen, prompting the user to move to their corresponding iPhone app for more detail.

Apple WatchThere are probably a few people out there who have wondered what the reason for Apple’s Smartwatch is. It’s one thing to read an article claiming that the watch is going to change things, or that it does what the iPhone already does but on your wrist. The price of the Watch models are quite high, so what would make the devices worth the expense? Why would someone own a smartwatch and a smartphone?

Apple event hits hard with new MacBook, Apple Watch release date, and more

Apple WatchToday’s Apple Event was one of the most anticipated of the year, with plenty of speculation to go around. Now, we see that it was worth the wait with a few massive announcements that include the Apple Watch’s release date, a new MacBook, and the launch of Apple TV with exclusive HBO Now rights.

Apple Watch Coming To Store In April

Which brings us to the biggest news, and the most interesting since Apple released in iPad back in 2010: the Apple Watch. After months of speculation and rumors, it has been revealed that the Watch will hit shelves on April 24. It will be their first steps into the wearables game, a risky market that they have been carefully preparing for long past the release of competitive devices.

Is Apple Watch voice messaging feature a look at things to come?

Apple Watch Voice Messaging FeatureI saw an interesting article on TheVerge this week about Apple Watch, and how it seems to be going back to the Press To Talk style of mobile communication. But is it really a trend of things to come, or just a fluke that will once again fade away?

For those whippersnappers too young to remember, PTT was a walkie-talkie style of mobile communication that was done between two phones within a short distance of one another. You pressed a button, talked and it came in through the frequency of another compatible phone in the area.

Apple WatchAlongside the introduction of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Apple has finally unveiled their much anticipated Watch.

Surprisingly, it was called the Watch and not the iWatch, yet everyone is calling it that regardless. Rather than pack it full of features, they are instead focusing on customizing it to match the consumer who buys it, calling it a “new chapter in the relationship” between people and technology.

Unlike their other flagships, Apple is offering some variety for their Watch. They have the primary device, the Watch Sport, and the Watch Edition. Each is meant to match your personal style, with the first being silver or black stainless steel, the second silver or space grey, and third 18k yellow or rose gold with sapphire crystal. All come with a variety of bands you can choose from.
