Lenovo ThinkPad X1We’ve all been hearing rumors about the new product being manufactured by Lenovo… well it’s been made official few days ago when the ThinkPad X1 was finally announced. Even though it might not sound like a big deal, in comparison to the prior ThinkPads, the X1 is very thin and also very strong; it’s the first one to be manufactured with a trackpad that doesn’t have the button.

The new X1 definitely brings a new fresh look yet it still stays true to its ThinkPad-ness. It has a 13-inch screen and runs in Windows 7; it was also announced that Intel Core i7 processor will be included as an option in a short period of time because for now they only have Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i3 available. The X1 also comes with an HDMI output, 4 in 1 card reader, traditional headphone & microphone jack, and it weighs about 3.76 pounds which is a very good weight given that other Lenovo products tend to be a bit heavier.
