NSA Spy ViewData that the US Republican party has collected on around 200 million Americans has been dump online. The information was accidentally left up by a marketing and data firm called Deep Root Analytics.

A lot of information released

Information was aggregated from Republican super PACs, Reddit and other sources and put into a database. Contained in the information were the details of voters – Social Security numbers, birth dates, emails, physical addresses, religion, race and political leanings – and were used in targeted political commercials.

Snapchat latest to be hacked as nude photos were leaked over the Internet

SnapchatUsers of Snapchat that thought they were safe from leaks are in for a painful realization. It has been announced that images and chat logs from the app have been saved for years through a third party, and that hackers have announced on 4Chan that they are building a database for a massive leak.

The saved Snapchats appear to have been placed on a third party server of some kind, and is being curated into a searchable database. It is not yet known where the data was taken from, but they believe it was a Danish service called SnapSaved. It allowed users to sign up to save Snapchats that would otherwise be deleted after opening.

“Black Budget” leak shows $52.6 billion spent on surveillance programs

US Intelligence Black Budget LeakEdward Snowden has once again released crucial documents showing the United States efforts to spy on citizens from around the world. This time the leak shows the astonishing $52.6 billion dollar price tag for PRISM and other connected programs.

A release is offered in a presentation that breaks down the black budget into different agencies, showing who got what and for what purposes. It also shows who spends the most money based on the five main agencies and other departments, what categories take the most money, the thirty-two different types of spending, and accompanies a leak of 178 pages of documents offering more details.

This black budget leak was pretty much wide reaching with no concern for filters. But The Washington Post agreed not to publish all information, due to ongoing missions and covert actions that could put agents and cases at risk. Only the summary has been posted, but it is enough to give quite a look at operations.

AntiSec leaked 1,000,001 Apple UDIDs, users start to worry about privacy invasion

Security KeyAntiSec, the anti-government and big business section to Anonymous has recently released 1,000,001 iDevice Unique Device Identifiers (UDIDs) to the public with the claim that there are a lot more where they came from. That number alone is staggering from a privacy perspective but the claims that AntiSec are making on where they got them from and how many more are available there are what brings up even more of an issue.

According to the group’s claims, the UDIDs came from an FBI device and they are following that up with the claim that the FBI has a list of over 12 million ID numbers which can be used for various forms of tracking. Even if the claims prove false the million UDIDs released are an issue within itself.

Leak: Is this the iPhone 5 design ?

At first sight the screen appears to be longer and, as speculation has it, this could be a design to allow a larger battery. One crazy thing is that the headphone jack is plastered on the bottom. The dock connector has been altered too, much smaller in size to the dock connector on existing iPhones. That spells nothing but trouble if you already own peripherals for your iPhone. This is the iPhone 5 and it has the world already grasping for straws to predict what it will be.

It was only last Tuesday that many photos surfaced, claiming to reveal all the goodies of the next iPhone by Apple. 9to5Mac was one culprit, along with couple of repair shops and a Hong Kong mobile phone accessories reseller.
