The line-up of the OMEN by HP series is made up of laptops, desktops and a 32 inch diagonal Quad HD display. The display is specially designed for gaming and uses AMD FreeSync technology. AMD FreeSync technology makes gameplay smooth by removing tearing and stuttering.
The OMEN by HP display offers wide viewing angles and 100 percent sRGB colour space. This display is aimed to work with the OMEN by HP desktops to make the gamer’s experience more immersive.
OMEN by HP Laptops
The camera on the OMEN by HP laptop with be a Wide Vision HD camera or Intel’s RealSense Camera. The camera will allow users to enjoy a 3D experience and use gesture control with their games.
OMEN by HP Desktops
The desktops will have liquid cooling. This is an advanced thermal system that keeps the desktop cool, quiet and without lag due to heat. A plus for this series is the case. The case has tool-less opening, making for easy customisation. The chassis is brushed metal, customisable LCD lights and has the OMEN logo on the side.
Release Dates and Pricing
The 15.6 inch OMEN laptop will start at $899.99. A 17.3 inch OMEN laptop will set you back $1029.99 from HP.com and $979.99 at Best Buy. The laptops will be released on July 10. The Omen Desktop and OMEN 32 diagonal display will be released in August.
