Evolio Neura 3G, an interesting Romanian Tablet

Evolio Neura 3GSurfing the Internet today, brought us a premiere: a Romanian tablet called Evolio Neura. It comes fully equipped with a 1 GHz Dual Core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, which makes it extremely attractive.

The Neura also comes with wonderful graphics that supports Full HD technology; the screen measures 9.7 inches and it features multi-touch capacity.

The platform happens to be Android and it’s completely open to any Android-based application. The downside is that it’s Android 2.2 Froyo, a little bit outdated OS for the tablets, but the producer promises a Honeycomb update in September. It comes with a 16 GB flash memory by default, but it can be upgraded to 32 GB.

In comparison to other available tablets, the Neura offers the most connectivity options. It features a slot for micro SD card, the traditional USB port, a LAN-capable one and an input for an HDMI cable. In addition to this, the tablet also features Wi-Fi connectivity(802.11 b/g/n), as well as Bluetooth 2.1 EDR connection.

Making a quick comparison, the Neura seems to have quite a handful advantages over the very popular iPad 2. For example, Neura is capable of navigating the web – or any site for that matter – on Flash platform, which isn’t possible for the iPad. Additionally, it can connect to a LAN therefore it comes with an input for an Ethernet cable. The memory that the tablet brings for default can be increased if you need to.

When it comes to the graphics, Neura also beats iPad easily since it can play HD movies at 1080p, while the iPad 2 can only support 720p. Also, since it’s based on Android, there are truly a lot more applications available free of charge for the users.

Another feature that makes the Neura unique is the fact that it includes information in the Romanian language. This information includes ebooks, news and TV channels via interactive applications. It also comes with an assortment of accessories that the customer will be able to choose from. This is perhaps one of the things that interests young users the most, since they can choose from various cases, a special pencil and car support, just to name a few.

For those who need to access computers remotely, the Neura offers the Remote Desktop option. Moreover, users will be able to access business applications such as cloud computing and other programs for proper videoconferencing.

This tablet is well-equipped with a 3G module, a 3.5mm audio input jack, an integrated microphone and a GPS. The 1.3MP webcam is also integrated and it’s located in the front of the tablet.

Neura will be available for sale on July 25 in Romania and its price is near $650.
