Today we are posting for you a step by step guide to install Windows 7 without losing previous data you had on your computer. As we see each day, hundreds of people come to the computer repair shops requesting repairers to reinstall windows and keep their old files safe. This is not fair, because you can do it by yourself.
We all encounter headaches when Windows 7 crashes and you can’t do anything and reinstalling it seams to be the only solution.
Follow the instructions below
Before installing Windows, take a closer look on various methods to install. Basically, in every common computer two methods are used for installation. +Continue Reading
Since the moment they revaled IdeaPad U1, Lenovo stepped up its game and released their new tablets available in the market: the ThinkPad and the IdeaPad K1 and P1 both featuring Honeycomb 3.1. Lenovo also developed their very own App Shop, which is a lot like the one for Apple. With unique differentiators and a limited Netflix partnership, it looks like the company took their time to make the wait worthwhile.
ThinkPad Tablet
This Honeycomb 3.1 tablet – which features a 10.1 in screen – was created mainly for business individuals, sporting an impressive 1280 x 800 resolution display with 3G and WiFi options. It might not be the thinnest tablet developed but it will run on a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and 1.6 GB of RAM with 24.1 Wh battery. It also has an HDMI slot with USB 2.0 and micro USB ports. The Thinkpad also has a front and rear camera. SD cards and SIM can also be inserted on the edge.

The battle between Sony’s PlayStation and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 is far from over. For those who aren’t in sync with Xbox, the newest version is the Xbox 360 which has been sort of reinvented and made “slim” – which seems to be a copy of PlayStations very own slim version. It is about 17 percent thinner and smaller than the original version.
Before we go into too much detail about what the Xbox is, Microsoft has announced that beginning on May 22 of the current year they will be giving out free Xboxes 360 4 GB to all of those students that purchase a brand new computer that is worth at least $699.00 and that runs on Windows 7.
Getting your free Xbox might not be as easy as the A, B, C, 1, 2, 3… of course not! Those who want to take advantage of this special offer they must have a valid e-mail address that ends in .edu if making the purchase online. +Continue Reading
Now when the crowd is busy with the iOS vs. Android, Acer is busy releasing a new approach to the tablet computers market: Iconia W500. This Windows 7 tablet takes a completely different attempt to be the best alternative of the traditional notebooks and netbooks. The 1 GHz AMD Fusion processor is also another thing that makes this tablet completely different from the other tablets.
Still if your complain is about the on screen keyboard of this tablet, then you have a great alternative to that: a docking station with a keyboard is all that you need to convert it to a complete Windows 7 laptop. Besides this, the keyboard also includes a pair of USB ports on every side. The connection of the tablet with the dock is not something complex as it is actually connected through the USB port. About the design, the only complain you can make is the weight as it weighs around 950 grams and is bit of heavy to hold it with a single hand. +Continue Reading
Launched last year in October, Windows 7 claims to be the most stable version of Windows after 98 or XP. We learned that it comes in 3 different version: Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate and we saw what is the difference between them. We also learned, from our first post that Windows 7 system requirements aren’t so high as Vista was: 1/2Gb RAM and an 1 Ghz processor should do it. Since it’s been enough time to test this new operating system, today we discuss about the Taskbar.
Before talking about the new Taskbar, we want to speak a little about boot time in Windows 7. After we first open the computer, this is the phase when the PC loads it’s bios and then starts to boot the operating system that is installed on the hard drive. We discovered and we can confirm the fact that a system boots up faster when Windows 7 is installed. Is something close with what we all experienced at the first days after we installed XP and the system wasn’t load with programs. It’s useless to compare it with Vista boot up time, because we all know it took more than 30 seconds to finish. +Continue Reading
The wait is over…Windows 7 had been released on 22 October so we couldn’t pass this event without writing something about it.
Windows Vista was the previous operating system that Microsoft claimed to be a new wave inside our computers. We all know Vista has been just a pain in the arse: lack of drivers, resource killer, security problems and a lot of related issues destroyed our faith in Microsoft’s operating systems(XP).
Introduction
Windows 7 is a simplified version of previous operating system made by Microsoft(Xp + Vista). It comes with several fixes and tweaks to make our experience smoother and close to what we all expected.
Versions
You will find in stores 3 different types of Windows 7, each having more or less features: +Continue Reading
