Samsung, the electronic giant of South Korea, introduced three new smartphones on Monday: the Galaxy S II LTE, Galaxy S II HD LTE, and an Windows Phone 7.5 phone called Omnia W (Mango).
The HD LTE features 4G LTE, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, an amazing 4.65-inch Super AMOLDED HD display, with 1280 x 720 pixels at 316 pixels per inch. Alongside, a 1.5GHz processor is embedded, 16GB of onboard memory, and an 8-megapizel camera that is 1080p HD video capable.
Second on our list is the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE which is almost identical to the 4G LTE, with the exception of a 4.65-inch display. The LTE features a 4.5-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display and will most likely be a cheaper phone on the market. +Continue Reading
As you already might know, IFA is one of the largest and more recognized trade shows over the world. For several years this event has set up the trend in consumer electronics and domestic appliances.
This year, as expected after all the preliminary media display, one of the biggest protagonists were the tablet PCs. Raising the bets on this field, Samsung deployed three new amazing devices on its aim to move forward in this new but highly competed segment.
The first one is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, which arrived at IFA with some sort of controversy after Samsung decided to pull it out and take down the advertisement, allegedly due to some patent dispute with Apple. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 featured an astonishing 7 inches Super AMOLED plus screen.
The Galaxy’s display is literally catching all the eyes, but what is really impressive about this device are his dimensions. Is indeed an incredible achievement packing such good technology in such a small and slim case. +Continue Reading
As you and millions of others have witnessed, tablets are being released like crazy. In a market saturated with different types of smartphones, tablets, notebooks and laptops, it becomes rather difficult for a new gadget to draw the attention of all the potential customers.
Even though there are several ways to get the attention of the target audience, perhaps the oldest and most effective way is by cutting down the price. This can come very much in handy, especially because the market’s leader happens to be Apple. Everybody knows that Apple devices – in this case, let’s refer specifically to the iPad – are not the most affordable ones. Therefore, it would be only expected to see their competitors trying to slash down the prices of their tablets and gadgets.
When taking the iPad as an example (and as a starting point of competition), competitors are looking at a price of $500 as reference. This means that they need to bring down their prices from there. +Continue Reading

This phone is intended for a good messaging experience and it is equipped with Group Text and also the virtual keyboard is Swype ready. Its four-row slide out keyboard is very comfortable with its well thought design so typing should be a good experience even though in the portrait mode the virtual keyboard is too annoying to type perfectly because of the small 3.2-inch display. +Continue Reading
Apple has decided to file a lawsuit against Samsung stating that they have infringed in design matters by stealing and copying their designs. Apple has stated that the Galaxy S II, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Infuse 4G and Droid Charge are all copied designs by Samsung.
The lawyers were pointed to discuss and decide if these models were violating Apple’s patent in regards to the iPhone 4 and its design. It was determined that the case’s judge was seemingly tending to agree with Apple’s lawsuit since they presented an example of how the Galaxy Tab 10.1 was overwhelmingly similar to the iPad 2 and there were remarks stated by Samsung’s Vice President Lee Don-Joo where he stated that they were going to surpass Apple with their new model. These remarks were made shortly after Apple released the iPad 2. +Continue Reading
Samsung Droid Charge is a 4.3-inch phone and it’s the slimmest 4G LTE Smartphone from the Verizon network. This phone runs Android 2.2 Froyo which is a little bit outdated for a phone with such specifications. It’s nothing like revolutionary in any field of specs, but if you compare features with the present smartphones nothing is missing here. So we can call it just another perfect smartphone which has the capability to satisfy most of the users.
The 4.3-inch display comes with a good resolution of 800 x 480 pixels which is great if you are used to mobile entertainment. It’s also pretty slim having just 14mm thickness even if it gets thicker at the bottom which reminds us about the recently released HTC Thunderbolt.
The only problem with this phone could be the plastic built which may have given a glossy look, but as soon as you have some scratches on it the show is over. It looks a bit cheaper too. Unlike most of the Android phones this one has four physical buttons at the bottom which includes a search button besides the other three usual buttons. +Continue Reading
The highly anticipated high performance series of laptops from Samsung called Series 9 just hit the market a few days before. This super slim laptop is going to make you pay $1599, but his specs will justify the price just because at the end of the day everything relies on performance.
The 13.3-inch display with SuperBright Plus makes the laptop a good entertainer besides the high processing power with its Core i5 2537M processor. The display is not the only thing to look at because the design and feel of the laptop will keep you your eyes busy for some time. It is made from the same material used to make airplanes, known as Duralumin which makes it lighter and stronger at the same time keeping the laptop having just 0.64-inch.
Samsung has proven their superior brighter display technology again with the SuperBright Plus display that has 400- nit brightness. +Continue Reading
