<p>Probably one important event which captures our attention in the beginning of the year is the release of <strong>Google </strong>first mobile phone, called <strong>Nexus One</strong>. You remember that next year we’ve analyzed some of the coolest gadgets including iPhone, Motorola Droid, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and so on, but this new phone just made official by Google will be on 2010 newspapers and blogs. These days Google made this <a href="http://www.itsagadget.com/2009/12/nexus-one-is-the-first-google-phone.html" target="_self">rumour</a> official on their website all specifications and features of the phone, including an order page in case you want to buy it (who doesn’t?). We will offer you an update&#8230;let&#8217;s say a review made with official specs.</p>
<p>The <strong>Android </strong>phone comes with a <strong>3.7-inches</strong> touchscreen display and supports <strong>800 x 480 pixels</strong> resolution. Google claims the contrast rate is <strong>100,000:1</strong> and the response rate-1ms. As main features we remember the accelerometer and digital compass.</p>
<p>Phone seems thinner, but a little longer than than iPhone having: <strong>119 x 59.8 x 11.5 mm</strong>. It weights <strong>135 grams</strong> with the included battery. By the way, the battery has <strong>1400mAH</strong> one capable of lasting 10 hours in talk time or 290 hours in standby mode.</p>
<p><span id="more-1512"></span>On the back we have a <strong>5 megapixel</strong> device camera equipped with autofocus, led flash and 2x digital zoom. Videos arecaptured at <strong>720&#215;480 pixels</strong> (@20fps).<a title="Google Nexus One Camera" href="http://www.itsagadget.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/google-nexus-one-back-camera-e1262737279560.jpg" rel="lightbox[1512]"></a><a title="Google Nexus One Camera" href="http://www.itsagadget.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/google-nexus-one-back-camera-e1262737279560.jpg" rel="lightbox[1512]"></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="Google Nexus One Camera" href="http://www.itsagadget.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/google-nexus-one-back-camera-e1262737279560.jpg" rel="lightbox[1512]"> <img class="size-full wp-image-1520 aligncenter" title="Google Nexus One Camera" src="http://www.itsagadget.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/google-nexus-one-back-camera-e1262737279560.jpg" alt="Google Nexus One Camera" width="186" height="365" /></a></p>
<p>On the top side of the phone we have the power/sleep button and<strong> 3.5 mm jack</strong>, while on the bottom is situated the <strong>microUSB</strong> port and the mic hole. Volume rocker buttons are on the left s<a title="Google Nexus One Camera" href="http://www.itsagadget.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/google-nexus-one-back-camera-e1262737279560.jpg" rel="lightbox[1512]"> </a>ide of the phone.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Android 2.1(Eclair)</strong> is the operating system version and the processor is a Qualcomm QSD 8250 having <strong>1 GHz.</strong> Nexus one comes with <strong>512Mb memory</strong>(both internal and RAM) and a<strong> 4 Gb microSD</strong> card, but it supports up to 32Gb in case you want to extend it.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Google phone offers plenty connectivity features: <strong>GPRS</strong>, <strong>EDGE</strong>, <strong>3G</strong>, <strong>Wi-Fi</strong>, <strong>Bluetooth 2.1</strong> and <strong>microUSB</strong>. <strong>Gps </strong>is also available through A-Gps receiver.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">As <strong>Google </strong>say on <a href="http://www.google.com/phone/?locale=en_US&amp;s7e=" target="_blank">google.com/phone</a> you can buy the phone with <strong>$529.99(unlocked version)</strong> or you can pay <strong>$179.99</strong> for 2-year agreement with T-Mobile.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">We&#8217;ll see if it worth it!</p>
