The major news is that it supports Wi-Fi, Gps and comes with a sliding full qwerty keyboard, but still lacks on some features that we would expected to score better.

Announced by Samsung last year, the new released phone comes with a 2.8-inches resistive touchscreen with 16M colors and a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.

The whole phone is made by plastic, has 15.8 mm thick and weights 135 grams so it doesn’t seem so heavy or large for our pockets. Above the touchscreen there is a videocall camera and the earpiece while on the bottom there are 3 buttons(Call, Back, End Call).

The left side of the phone host the volume rocker buttons while on the right side we will find a microUSB port, a camera shutter key and the Lock/Unlock button for the touchscreen. A 3.5 mm port jack is situated on the top of the phone.

Try to slide the phone to the left side and you will discover the QWERTY keyboard. The keys are arranged in 4 rows(top row includes numeric keys), every key is made by plastic and is easy to be pressed.

On the back of the phone there is a 3 megapixel camera equipped with 2x zoom and fixed focus. Photos have a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and videos can be made in QVGA @15 fps. Under the the back case there is a 960 mAh Li-Ion battery that provides up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 560 hours of stand-by time. Under this cover is also the microSD card slot, which can support up to 16GB cards.

Connectivity comes very solid on this model and features 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and microUSB. Gps comes with built-in Gps receiver and a single application, Google Maps. The web browser is fast and supports java or flash applications as well as one finger zooming during the view of websites.

The choice is yours to choose it or not, but Samsung B5310 CorbyPRO is available in stores with an estimated price of $ 290.
