Latest T-Mobile smartphone is myTouch 3G Slide

T-Mobile myTouch 3G SlideIt’s been a while since T-Mobile made noise with their G1 mobile phone, one of the first device created also with the help of Google. In 2008, G1 was a test for Google to know if they are prepared for cellphones niche. Later, in 2010 Google released their own mobile phone called Nexus One, built with HTC help.

Even if T-Mobile doesn’t got the experience other have(Nokia), they are a mobile phone producer since 2006. After four year of developing phones on their own or with other help, in June they released another smart phone called myTouch 3G Slide.

From the beginning we can see that the TFT display has a normal size, 3.4 inches and supports a 480 x 320 pixel resolution with 262k colors. Under the display we have four buttons: Home, Menu, Back, G-button and an optical pad in the middle. Sliding the phone to the right side will make you discover the four row QWERTY keyboard which looks quite stylish.

Samsung Epic 4G, first HTC Evo 4G competitor

Samsung Epic 4GNot so long time ago we were stunned to find out that HTC has successfully manage to build Evo, the first 4G mobile phone ever.

It is time for the competition to step up and follow the 4G network trend and Samsung seams to take that risk. Samsung Epic is the first 4G smartphone made by Korean manufacturer and promises to be a good competitor for HTC Evo.

We shall say: FIGHT!

The 4.0-inches big touch display is a Super Amoled based one with 16M colors and 480 x 800 pixel resolution. It supports multi-touch, swype text writing and has accelerometer and proximity sensors. Under the display there are four touch sensitive buttons: Menu, Home, Back and Search. Above the screen there’s a secondary VGA camera ready for video chat.

RIM announced Torch 9800 and BlackBerry 6 OS

BlackBerry Torch 9800RIM(Research In Motion) and AT&T gather the press few days ago to make two big announces: Torch 9800 phone and the 6th version of BlackBerry OS.

BlackBerry Torch is the first touch QWERTY slider smartphone designed by RIM, built for socially connected consumers and packed with the tools business customers love.

The 3.2-inches touchscreen supports a 480×360 display resolution and probably 65k colors. Below, there are BlackBerry usual buttons: Call, Menu, Back, End-Call and between them, the optical trackpad. On the left side of the phone we find the microUSB port while on the right side is the convenience(camera) key, volume rockers and a 3.5mm headset jack. On the top side are mute and lock buttons while at the bottom, if you slide the phone up, you will discover the full QWERTY keyboard(35 keys).
