Samsung W880 is close

samsung_w880It seems that next month we will have a surprise launch in South Korea: the new Samsung device called W880 is here. As you may see in the left picture, the phone comes with an unbelievable 12 megapixel camera and a big 3.3″ screen.

We just know some few things about this new freak phone.

The huge 3.3″ display is Amoled based with 16M colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The phone features both accelerometer and proximity sensor.

On the back, the 12 megapixel camera comes with 3x optical zoom, 2x digital zoom, xenon + power led flash, auto-focus, touch focus. Videos are shoot in HD format (1280 x 720) @ 30fps. HTC releases HERO, a new type of Smartphone

htc_heroHTC steps in and comes with a new challenge: HERO. It seems to be the most advanced Android based mobile phone out on the market this year. Now let’s discover what are the main features of this “hero”.

The main thing on this new phone is the multi-tasking: we are all used to run multiple applications on our computers(listen music, play games, stay online etc.)and we are so happy that the processor and operating system allow this.

These days mobile phones tend to get all features that a computer have so multi-tasking was a “must-have” option. This is now available on HTC HERO so either you want to surf the net with Opera or to check latest comments on facebook, you can do this simultaneous without any little problem.

Display

Phone comes with a TFT capacitive touchscreen with HVGA resolution and 65.000 colors. It supports a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and the based characteristics of a touch model: multi-touch input method, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate.

Nokia 6710 is the new Navigator

Nokia-6710-NavigatorIn a world that can’t handle without GPS, Nokia come and release 6710 Navigator. This is a smartphone built for Gps and supports: in car SatNav, digital compass, Ovi Maps 3.0.

The display is a TFT based one with 16 M colors and supports a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It features accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and touch-sensitive zoom bar below.

On the top of the display we find the earpiece, the ambient light sensor and the videocall camera. Right under the display come the keys(Menu, Clear, Call, End-Call), the D-pad and under it is a dedicated key to open the Maps app or to center your location on the map.

At the top side of the phone are situated the charger plug and the 3.5 mm audio jack, while on the bottom part it’s the battery slit and the mic. Lg BL40 is the new Chocolate

lg_bl40We return today to present you a new model released by Lg Electronics, BL40. This model is the forth release from the Black Label Series and features a huge screen of 4 inches.

When we first look at it, we think this is a remote control coming right from our apartments and meant to make our life easier. The very long shape remembers us the old “Chocolate” model design. Having 12.8 cm long and 128grams it will be very hard to keep it fit inside our pockets.

The huge 4 inches display has a resolution of 345 x 800 pixels and supports accelerometer sensor,  S-Class Touch UI, proximity sensor for auto turn-off and gesture controls.

The TFT scratch resistant touchscreen supports 16 M colors and is perfect if you intend to watch movies, as it supports a ratio of 21:9. On the top of the phone you will find the 3.5 mm audio jack and the Lock/Power key, while on the button is just a hole made for the mic. Nokia N900 is Ready to hit the Markets

nokia_n900_slideThe wait is over! WHY? Nokia N900 is almost in our hands this days, so we couldn’t stay and not talk about this new tablet/smartphone.

Till now the tablet releases offered by Nokia weren’t so shiny as we expected, but with the announcement of N900 model everything changes for good.

The new device come with an 3.5″ touchscreen display and a WVGA resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. On the back is an 5 megapixel camera equipped with Carl Zeiss lens and also capable of recording 16:9 video  on a resolution of up to 848×480 pixels@25fps.
